Course Profile: A10/28C "Lime Kiln" 10 mile TT
Used for Club Events only, such as the Thursday Night 10 mile Time Trial Series.
It is a "sporting" course that uses quite roads, with a sting in the tail, but also close proximity to the Lime Kiln Inn.
Start on Colston Road south east of the crossroads at the Lime Kiln Inn public house, Cropwell Bishop, adjacent to an iron inspection cover set in the triangular verge area approx. 5 yards north of the 7.5T except for access traffic sign.
Proceed to Colston Bassett taking care over the narrow bridge (directional priority) and the sharp left hand bend. Continue through the village keeping to the main road through the sweeping right hand bend and proceed to the T-Junction at Harby (5.003 miles).
Turn left WITH CAUTION and proceed to Langar where bear first left into Cropwell Road (7.54 miles).
Forward and continue to the finish situated at the end of a long uphill straight and opposite the Cropwell Bishop village sign (10 miles).
